What are the benefits of this program?

The ClimateSmart Loan Program provides a new source of financing for property owners who:

• Want to make energy efficiency and/or renewable energy measures on their properties;

• Would like to access a 5 or a 10 year loan;

• Don't want additional debt tied to their personal credit and want the security of a debt that stays with the property;

• May not have the equity to obtain a lower-interest loan from a bank or other private lender;

• Want to implement measures that have a longer-term return on investment.
